2nd Year 3rd Sem

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to basic statistical analysis. Students will learn fundamental concepts such as data collection, descriptive statistics, probability distributions, sampling techniques, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and simple regression analysis. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the logic of statistical reasoning, interpreting results, and applying statistical methods to real-world problems in social sciences, business, health, and other fields. The course also includes a demonstration of statistical software (i.e., SPSS) to strengthen both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
